Long Life Seeding Trays

We at ‘Sow Your Seeds’ have made a decision to solely stock Containerwise’s seedling trays as we firmly believe they are best on the market and their brand ethos and vision are intrinsically aligned with our own.

Containerwise is a family business based in Doncaster, UK run by father (David) and daughter (Emma). With over four decades in the plastics industry, the company has become an internationally renowned supplier of long-life propagation trays supplying a wide range of industries ranging from horticulture and agriculture to good and general industry. The trays are all made out of completely recyclable UV stabilised polypropylene, designed to last a decade or more.

They started their journey supplying the commercial market and whilst that is continues to be their mainstay, they have expanded into the amateur gardener, including home gardeners, allotment holders, and the hobby grower. To that end, the partnership with Charles Dowding (“no-dig” guru) and Huw Richards (permaculture, kitchen gardener enthusiast) has been instrumental in their expansion and so too has the collective shift in the industry to move away from single use plastics which ultimately end up in landfill and our oceans.
